COOL WITH CLOUDS: A weak disturbance to our south and an area of high pressure to the northeast is putting a strong easterly flow in place. This keeps the clouds and shower chances around over the next couple of days. With that said, it’s a foggy and drizzly start to the morning hours with isolated showers. Otherwise, the rest of the day is mainly cloudy. Isolated shower chances continue, especially east. Afternoon highs are stuck in the 60s. Thursday is very close to a repeat of the Wednesday forecast, with the clouds and isolated showers still in place.
CLOUDS BREAK: By Friday, the stubborn pattern finally breaks enough to allow some sunshine back into the forecast. However, our next system approaching from the west could bring a few late day showers and thunderstorms. It’s much warmer courtesy of the returning sunshine. Highs are in the middle to upper 70s. Saturday, shower and thunderstorm chances continue. Expect high temperatures near 80 degrees. By Sunday, dry conditions are back. Afternoon high temperatures are in the middle to upper 70s with partly cloudy skies.
UNSETTLED NEXT WEEK: Temperatures remain summery as we move into the new workweek, but shower and thunderstorm chances return. Monday is partly cloudy, but a few late thunderstorms are possible. Highs are in the upper 70s to near 80 degrees. Tuesday brings a better chance for showers. Highs fall to more seasonable readings, in the lower to middle 70s.
Have a great Wednesday!
