LANCASTER, Pa. -- Governor Tom Wolf given the honor of firing up the power to Urban Outfitter's brand new distribution center in Lancaster Thursday. The state of the art facility has over 1-million square feet of space. It's large enough to handle distribution to all of its customers on the east coast.
The Pennsylvania based company has hired 500 employees for the distribution center and plans on creating more jobs in the future. The distribution center also features the third largest roof top solar panel array in North America. It generates enough energy to power close to 300 homes making the facility nearly self sufficient.
