Coroner called to scene of Rt. 11 crash in Silver Spring Township

SILVER SPRING TOWNSHIP, Pa.–One person is dead and two others were injured following a crash involving two vehicles and a tractor-trailer in Cumberland County on Saturday morning.

The accident was reported shortly after 9 a.m. along Carlisle Pike (Route 11) near Appalachian Drive in Silver Spring Township.

The Cumberland County Coroner’s office has not yet released the name of the deceased victim.

Police reopened the road shortly after 12:30 p.m.
