For the second year, the Harrisburg Glow Run returned to Riverfront Park along Front Street.

Starting at 8:40 p.m., people decked out in glow in the dark gear took off from the park for a 5K race. The event also featured live music and an after party.

Proceeds go to 'Lighten Up Harrisburg' to help with public lighting projects. Last year the Glow Run raised $22,000 to replace 15 streetlights on Front Street.

"Clearly the community's with us on this and wants to support our city. We're expecting about 400-500 people, it's beautiful weather. All of the money raised here stays right here in Harrisburg, so the money is going to go toward more lighting projects in our city," said Glow Run Organizer, Devan Drabik.
