LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. – The investigation of a suspicious odor emanating from a motel room leads to the arrest of two people on drug charges over the weekend in Lancaster County.
At 9:28 pm Saturday, East Lampeter Township Police officers responded to the Days Inn hotel on Eastbrook Road. When officers arrived on the scene they noticed a strong odor of marijuana coming from a room.
Further investigation discovered that Jimenez and Cong were in possession of a large amount of suspected Heroin, Ecstasy, Molly and drug paraphernalia, including hypodermic needles, in addition to the small amount of Marijuana.
Jimenez and Cong were charged with three felony counts of Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance, one count of Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana, and one count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Following arraignment Jimenez, was sent to Lancaster County Prison in lieu of $100,000 bail. Cong was released after posting $50,000 bail. Both have a preliminary hearing scheduled for later this month.
