CRAWFORDSVILLE, IN - Four teens in Indiana are being called heroes after they helped save a hit-and-run victim.

The friends say they were driving early Sunday morning when they passed a woman walking along the road. They stopped at a gas station and decided to go back and check on her. The group of teens, ages 15 to 18,  then discovered 26-year-old Naomi Wolf had been hit and left for dead.

"We thought she was just trying to lay there to see if someone would pick her up," Dylan Cummins said, "but when we got back to her, I seen all the blood I was like 'Oh God.'"

The teens then called 911 and stayed with Wolf until emergency crews arrived.

The mother of two underwent surgery and is expected to make a full recovery.

"After we found out she had two kids and a husband we felt like really grateful because we helped a woman and helped save her life," Sierra Johnson said.

According to FOX 59, police were able to track down the 37-year-old driver that hit Wolf.  Jason Baldridge charged with leaving the scene of an accident resulting in serious bodily injury.
