Heavy rain causes sinkhole, shuts down Carroll Twp. road

CARROLL TOWNSHIP, Pa.–A Carroll Township road was shut down Sunday morning after heavy rainfall caused a sinkhole to open up.

The sinkhole  was reported in the area of  South Fileys and Big Oak Road. Police are advising motorists to avoid the area.

The road will remain closed until repairs can be made.
