DILLSBURG, Pa. - At least two houses in the area partially collapsed as a result of heavy rainfall and flooding over the weekend.
Water forced a wall in a basement to collapse at a home on the 100 block of South Chestnut Street in Dillsburg on Saturday night.
"I heard cracking, and when I looked up, the wall was coming in on me, water was coming through it and it just became a disaster," Jack Baker, the homeowner, said.
Runoff also flooded a basement Sunday morning at a home on By Pass Road in Franklin Township, York County, after a basement wall caved in.
No injuries were reported in either incident, crews said.
