SPRINGETTSBURY TOWNSHIP, PA– A York County woman is facing charges for stabbing a man who is believed to be her husband.
35-year old Jennifer Shaffer is accused of stabbing Darnell Roberson in the back with a kitchen style steak knife.
It happened just before 1:00 Saturday morning, outside of a home on Paradise Road in Springettsbury Township.
Police were notified of the crime after Roberson showed up at York Hospital. Roberson underwent surgery and is expected to recover.
Shaffer told police she stabbed Roberson because she is tired of him beating her and officers do nothing about it.
She is charged with aggravated assault and recklessly endangering another person.
