PHILADELPHIA, PA — Sam Maccarone and Jessica Burzichelli say they have been in love since they were 10 years old.
The young couple met in the 5th grade at their New Jersey elementary school and dated all throughout high school.
They went to different colleges, but they stayed together.
In the video Sam says that Jess had been dropping hints that she was interested in getting engaged, but he had already started planning the perfect proposal.
Sam’s cousin Matty has been writing and producing his own music for years and asked the couple to be part of a music video.
Little did Jess know that the video would be all about them.
It was shot in Love Park and around Philadelphia ending at their parents’ homes and a local restaurant.
The surprise proposal has gone viral with over 2 million views on YouTube.
