MIDDLETOWN, Pa.–A man who was kicked out of a Middletown bar was arrested early Saturday after police said he fired several shots into the streets.

Alex M. Costello, 24, of Middletown, is charged with reckless endangerment, simple assault, public drunkenness, and making terroristic threats.

Police said Costello had been tossed out of Guido McNeal’s on East Main Street for being intoxicated. A witness told investigatorsĀ  Costello was upset about being kicked out of the bar and threatened to shoot everyone. The witness later spotted Costello walking back towards the bar and reported moments later hearing several gunshots.

Authorities found shell casings along the 200 block of East High Street and 10 more spent casings along the 100 block of East Main Street.

Costello was taken into custody at his apartment, police said. Officers confiscated a rifle and two guns from his residence.

No one was hurt during the incident.
