WARMER WITH MORE SUN: Monday is going to be a fantastic day for the Lower Susquehanna River Valley! It’s a cool and comfortable start with abundant sunshine. Our next system adds some clouds late in day, but there’s still plenty of sunshine through the afternoon. The added sunshine warms us as well. Temperatures reach the upper 70s to lower 80s. Clouds continue to thicken through the night with an isolated shower or two possible. It’s a milder night, and the humidity levels rise. Overnight lows are in the lower to middle 60s.
MIDWEEK RAIN CHANCES: The chance for more showers and thunderstorms quickly returns. Our next system arrives Tuesday, and this is where our highest threat for showers and thunderstorms is expected. There’s a marginal risk for severe weather, with damaging wind gusts and flooding as the primary threats. A few showers and thunderstorms linger into Wednesday. Expect afternoon high temperatures in the upper 70s to lower 80s.
STAYING UNSETTLED: A series of weak disturbances keeps thunderstorm chances present through the end of the week. Thursday brings partly cloudy skies with perhaps an isolated thunderstorm later in the day. Friday still brings the chance for isolated thunderstorms. Highs are near 80 degrees both Thursday and Friday. Saturday, the 4th of July, brings clouds and thunderstorm chances. It’s warm with temperatures in the lower 80s. Skies dry out by Sunday. It’s a seasonable day with more sunshine.
Have a great Monday!
