HARRISBURG, Pa. –  The suspect in the brutal beating of a Harrisburg woman is arrested without incident by U.S. Marshals in York.  Frederick Owens, 26, was wanted by Harrisburg  Police for criminal attempt- homicide and other related charges.

On June 16, at about 12:45 am at 7 row Hall Manor, Owens is alleged to have gotten into a physical altercation with the victim whom he allegedly beat from head to toe with closed fists, a hammer and other items. The victim sustained multiple injuries requiring hospital treatment.

On June 18, an arrest warrant was issued charging Owens with Criminal Attempt Homicide, Aggravated Assault causing serious bodily injury, Theft by Unlawful Taking, and  Unlawful Restraint causing serious bodily  injury.

The U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force was asked for assistance in locating Owens after investigators learned that he may traveled to the York area.
