DENVER, CO -- As the holiday weekend gets closer, you may think flying in a private jet is only for business execs and celebrities, but a Colorado company is looking to change that.
Fresh Jets is offering customers a way to fly in style, without breaking the bank.
“This is not something I thought I’d get to experience,” said Colin Ferrian, a recent college graduate from Boulder. “I couldn’t even sleep last night I was so excited.”
Ferrian turned to Fresh Jets when he was looking for a flight home to Phoenix.
“They were actually a lot more reasonable than I thought they’d be,” said Ferrian, who says he paid slightly less than a first class ticket for the flight. “It’s something I’ve never done before… It was easy to justify, given the price.”
Total cost of his fancy flying experience? $449.
Along with his business partner, Johnny Sengelmann discovered that about a third of all charter flights are empty leg flights, meaning the pilot flies alone to pick up his next passenger.
