The Fourth of July is fast approaching and no barbeque is complete without holiday related drinks. Brian Phillips from Fine Wine and Good Spirits joined us on the set of Fox43 Morning news to share some of his top options. We've also included the recipes below so you can try them at home.
Sparkling Daiquiri
1½ oz Don Q Cristal Rum
½ oz simple syrup
½ oz fresh lemon juice
Michelle Brut
Combine first three ingredients in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake and strain into a tall glass filled with fresh ice and top with sparkling wine.
Blue Lemonade
1 oz Pinnacle Vodka
1 oz Blue Curaco
6 oz Lemonade
Watermelon
2-inch star cookie cutter
Lollipop sticks
Cut watermelon into ¾-inch thick slices. Cut out stars using the star cookie cutter and insert a lollipop stick into the bottom of each one; set aside. Combine first three ingredients in a mason jar or tall glass; stir gently. Garnish with watermelon lollipop.
Liberty Lemon Slice
1 ½ oz Ciroc Vodka
¾ oz lemon juice
1 oz simple syrup
6 mint leaves
Club soda
Combine first four ingredients in a tall glass and top with club soda; stir gently. Garnish with mint sprig.
