Leola man accused of rape of three children

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. – East Lampeter Township Police accuse a Leola man of rape multiple times of three minor children.

Steven Anthony Prater, 35, is charged with several counts involving the sexual assault of three girls ranged in age between 8 and 12 years old.  The assaults allegedly occurred between January and December 2014 at a home in Leola.  Prater is also accused of videotaping the assaults.

Prater was arrested by township police on Wednesday.  The charges include three counts of Involuntary Deviate Sexual Intercourse, Criminal Attempt at Rape of a Child, six counts of Indecent Assault, Corruption of Minors, and Sexual Abuse of Children.

Following arraignment Prater was committed to Lancaster County Prison in lieu of $150,000 bail.
