LEBANON, Pa. — A Lebanon County man is in prison after police say he deliberately crashed the car his ex-wife was driving with two children in the back seat. It happened Wednesday around 3:38pm on the 500 block of N 12th St. Debra Gentile was giving her ex-husband, Raymond Gentile, a ride. The two started arguing while traveling south on 12th Street. During the argument, police say Raymond Gentile, 28, of North Cornwall Twp., grabbed the steering wheel and  turned it to the left, intentionally causing the vehicle to travel across a traffic lane and into a tree on the east side of 12th St. Debra Gentile and the children, ages 5 and 6, suffered minor injuries. They were treated and released from a local hospital. Police say the children were not properly restrained in booster seats or seat belts.

Raymond Gentile is charged with Aggravated Assault, Simple Assault, Recklessly Endangering and Endangering the Welfare of Children. He is in county prison on $60,000 bail. Police charged Debra Gentile with Restraint Systems violations for not properly securing the children.
