LEMOYNE, Pa. — A Harrisburg bicyclist who was struck by an SUV in Cumberland County was recently arrested after police said he was drunk.

Jeremiah Wilson was taken into custody on June 28. The crash occurred around 9:30 p.m. along the 800 block of Market Street in Lemoyne.

Wilson was riding the bike when he went into oncoming traffic and was struck by a Honda SUV, police said. A witness told investigators that Wilson appeared very unsteady on his bicycle before the crash. Officers believed Wilson was under the influence of alcohol.

Wilson suffered injuries and was taken to Penn State Hershey Medical Center for treatment. Upon being released, Wilson was arrested for DUI and booked into Cumberland County Prison. Police said he was already on probation at the time of his arrest.
