Double homicide investigation in Mifflin County

MIFFLIN COUNTY, Pa – Pennsylvania State Police are on the scene of an apparent double homicide in Granville Township, Mifflin County.  Granville Township Police were called to a home before daybreak on the 100 block of Fairway Drive, near the Lewistown Country Club for a report of a man outside carrying what appeared to be a gun.

When officers arrived on the scene, they took two suspects into custody. They then discovered two victims, reportedly female, inside the residence.  At about 6:30 am, Granville Township Police requested PSP take over the investigation.   Mifflin County District Attorney David Molek was also summoned to the scene.

So far no word on the identities of the victims nor the names of the suspects.
