Lancaster County bank robbery suspect arrested

WEST HEMPFIELD TWP,, Pa. – Police in Lancaster County arrest a bank robbery suspect.  Justin J. Dettinger, 28, of Columbia, was taken into custody without incident Monday morning,

Union Community Bank Robbery 2Police were able to obtain a warrant for Dettinger’ s arrest due to several tips they had received over the past several days. He was located this morning in Mount Joy Township where he was staying with a friend.

Charges against Dettinger Robbery, and Theft by Unlawful Taking for the July 7th robbery of the Union National Bank branch on South 18th Street in West Hempfield Township just outside of Columbia Borough.

Following arraignment Dettinger was committed to Lancaster County Prison on $125,000 bail.

West Hempfield Township Police say their investigation is continuing.
