Overnight Forecast Panel CSV

Warm front will push north early tomorrow.  Temperatures will warm to the low to mid 80s .   A cold front will be marching towards the east coast late in the day into Wednesday. Ahead of the front, during the afternoon and evening,  scattered showers and thunderstorms will develop.

Right now, nothing severe is expected but parts of the area could pick up quite a bit of rain if you get under a thunderstorm.  Amounts as high as  .50” to a1.0” of rain is possible for parts of the area.

PM DMA RPM Rain Total

As the front moves south Wednesday morning, there could be a few lingering showers or thunderstorms early but most of the day remains dry. High pressure will build in during the afternoon, lowering humidity and decreasing the clouds. Highs Wednesday will be near seasonal averages in the low 80s.
NICE AND COMFY END TO THE WEEK
We enjoy a couple of great looking days Thursday and Friday with high pressure providing sunshine and dry conditions. Highs will be in the low 80s Thursday, as we will still be under the influence of an upper level trough. It lifts allowing for warmer air to spread in for Friday. Highs will warm to the middle 80s.
WEEKEND HEAT AND HUMIDITY
Ridge builds in and that spells a couple of days of summer heat and humidity. Highs will warm to the upper 80s and some areas could flirt with 90 degrees both days. However, a couple of disturbances in the upper level flow may combine with the heat and humidity to trigger a few afternoon and early evening showers and thunderstorms. There will be plenty of rain free hours so plan on outside stuff but also stay alert for a pop up thunderstorm later in the day.
