Police say Walker shot 44-year-old Eric Rivers multiple times after a family dispute. It happened on the 400-block of Crescent Street at about 1:30 AM on Sunday. Rivers died on the front porch of the home and Walker is charged with homicide.

Police say there were more than 100 people in the area at the time but it took them more than three hours to find a witness who would talk to police.

“We understand that there’s always a lot of emotions, but understand that we’re here to help the neighborhood, help the individuals, help the victim’s family because they are looking for closure,” says Sgt. Gabriel Oliveira of Harrisburg City Police.

Walker was captured by Marshals in Creedmor, North Carolina. He’s facing charges of homicide and illegal possession of a firearm.
