Man passes counterfeit money at Wegmans, Wal-Mart

CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. – Silver Spring Township Police seek to identify a man suspected in two incidents involving the passing of counterfeit money.

Police say last week on July 9,  counterfeit bills were used at Wegmans located at 6416 Carlisle Pike and at the Wal-Mart located next door at 6520 Carlisle Pike.

Investigators released a surveillance photo of the suspect and a white SUV he may have been driving. If anyone can identify the male suspect, please contact Officer Cory Keen at (717) 697-0607 ext 2004 or email at
