Cause of Sadsbury Township fire remains undetermined

SADSBURY TOWNSHIP, Pa.–Investigators are still trying to determine what caused a fire that destroyed a home in Sadsbury Township early Friday morning.

It broke out around 3:50 a.m. along the 100 block of Upper Valley Road. The home was unoccupied at the time of the fire.

Pennsylvania State Police said they still don’t know the exact cause but they believe an explosion occurred inside the home, which possibly ignited the fire.

Damage was estimated around $125,000 and the home was a total loss.
