People in York County are raising money for a good cause, one red solo cup at a time.

You won’t see running or swimming in these “Olympic Games” but you will see plenty of cold ones!

Folks came out to help pay if forward at this year’s Beer’lympics in Emigsville on Saturday.

Unlike typical Olympic events, people competed in games like beer pong, flip cup, and even beer dodgeball!

Co-Chairman, Neil Stough, started the even four years ago in his backyard as a way for family and friends to raise money for local charities.

He says it’s a different way to give back to the community.

Stough says, “Me and my nieces started it back in 2012 as a way to raise money other than running a marathon.  We ended up raising a lot of money and we get more and more each year.”

This year, 100% of the proceeds will be donated to the Pennsylvania Veterans Foundation.
