YORK, Pa. – An unidentified driver is taken into custody after he pulls up to the outer vehicle checkpoint at the Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station on Lay Road, outside Delta.
The incident happened at about 6 pm. According to a company spokesperson, the driver demonstrated unusual behavior when approached by plant security. The Pennsylvania State Police were notified. When they arrived on scene troopers took the individual into custody. The person did not gain entry to the site. The spokesperson said there was no threat to employees or the plant.
State Police have not indicated whether the individual will be charged.
