EAST PETERSBURG, Pa. – A Lancaster County couple face multiple drug charges after police raid their East Petersburg home and seize cocaine and cash. A search warrant was executed on Tuesday, July 21 at the home located at 2644 Northfield Drive.  The arrest of James Morant, 47, and wife Kelli Morant, 43, follows a three month investigation by Lancaster County Drug Task Force Detectives.

The Morants were known to be allegdedly storing and selling cocaine at their home. James Morant was found to be in possession of a bag containing cash, approximately 109 grams of powder cocaine and over 200 non-prescribed narcotics as he arrived at the residence.

Also located in different areas of the residence was a total of $114,000.00 in cash, which police seized as suspected assets from the illegal sale of cocaine. In addition, two vehicles were also seized as suspected drug related assets. The street value of the cocaine as found was approximately $25,000.00. The street value of the prescription narcotics is approximately $2000.00.

James Morant was charged with two counts of felony Possession with Intent to Deliver(PWID)– Cocaine, Criminal Conspiracy, two counts of felony Possession with Intent to Deliver Schedule II narcotics and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  He was committed to Lancaster County Prison in lieu of $250,000.00 cash bail.

Kelli Morant was charged with one count of PWID – Cocaine, Criminal Conspiracy and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. She was also committed to Lancaster County Prison in lieu of $100,000.00 cash bail.

Jeremy Morant was not arrested at the scene, but charged by summons with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
