UPPER ALLEN TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A 22-year-old woman is facing criminal charges after police said she engaged in sex acts with a juvenile boy in Cumberland County.
Paden Tennant, of Mechanicsburg, is charged with rape, statutory sexual assault, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child less than 16 years of age, indecent assault on a person less than 13 years of age, corruption of minors and unlawful contact with minor. Tennant turned herself into police on July 23 and was released after posting $40,000 bail.
Tennant allegedly had a sexual relationship with the boy for approximately four years–beginning in January 2012 when he was 12 years-old and she was 19, according to the criminal complaint. The relationship ended in June 2015, police said.
In an interview with police–Tennant admitted to having a sexual relationship with the boy, according to court documents.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Aug. 26.
