An Adams County landmark opened it's doors for a Summertime tradition on Sunday. The 12th Annual Old-Fashioned Cornfest was held at the Historic Round Barn and Farm Market in Franklin Township, near Arendtsville.

Roasted sweet corn was on the grill, along with pulled pork, peaches and other favorites. There was also plenty of fun activities for youngsters and live music by the Back Creek Valley Boys for all to enjoy.

"It grows every year and now, we keep doing it because people tell us we can't stop. Everybody has fun and everybody enjoys what they're doing. The kids have things to do and the adults have things to do, and there's plenty of good food," says Tonya Knouse, owner and General Manager of the Historic Round Barn.

The Old-Fashioned Cornfest really takes attendees back in time to a simpler way of life. It was free and open to the public. For more information on the Historic Round Barn and Farm Market, click here:  http://www.roundbarngettysburg.com/_mgxroot/page_10746.html
