A WELCOME BREAK FROM THE HUMIDITY
A cold front continues to move east and showers and storms are quickly moving out of the area. We’ll be drying out the next few hours from some hefty downpours. Skies will slowly clear allowing sunshine to break out making for a nice afternoon and evening. The humidity will slowly be dropping but not until this evening so it may still feel a tad humid for a few hours. Temperatures will respond to the sunshine and warm up a few more degrees before falling back to the 70s later tonight. And, we’ll get to enjoy a nice morning, less humid and cooler with temperatures starting in the 60s. It will be a warm end to the week but it will be more comfortable.
Plenty of sunshine for Friday and for the start of Saturday, but a weak boundary moving by to our north, may trigger a stray shower or two mainly in our northern counties late in the day. Most of the day will be rain free with highs still warm and above average in the upper 80s to near 90. Morning lows both days will be in the 60s. It will be another nice day Sunday with mostly sunny skies and highs in the mid to upper 80s.
