Hundreds of people flocked to Philadelphia Sunday for their chance to become part of American Idol history.

Auditions for American Idol XV, the final farewell season, were held at the Liacouras Center.

Singing hopefuls from all over the country, including Central PA, waited in line for several hours; all of them hoping to earn a golden ticket to Hollywood.

Singers who got a ‘yes’ Sunday will go on to round two of the auditions.

Whoever makes it through round two will then get the chance to perform in front of the celebrity judges.
