3 alarm fire at Lebanon County lumber mill

LEBANON COUNTY, Pa. – Firefighters on the scene of a fire at Weaber, a lumber mill in South Annville Township.  The fire broke out just after 9 am at the sprawling mill at 1231 Mount Wilson Road. The first firefighters on the scene reported heavy flames and smoke.  The fire quickly grew to three alarms with fire companies from Lancaster County responding to assist.

The fire reportedly started in one of the saw dust bins outside one of the buildings.  Employees noticed the smoke and called the fire department. The fire was declared under control at about 11 am.  They were no injuries. Damage was contained within the bin. The plant is expected to resume normal operations Thursday morning.
