HARRISBURG, Pa. — We’re following breaking news out of Harrisburg this morning, where a domestic dispute led to a police standoff with an armed man.
Police say 29-year-old Juan Navarro got into a physical fight with his girlfriend inside a house along State and 18th street.
The couple then began to fight outside and Navarro racked a shotgun before going back into the house.
His father and three children were sleeping inside.
CERT Team members were able to safely remove Navarro’s family members from the house before arresting Navarro.
He is now facing domestic assault charges, as well as possible firearm charges.
Police say his girlfriend suffered a minor cut from the fight but is expected to be okay.
