Pitzi says this one device will greatly impact the work she does as she helps youth across eight different counties which includes York County.

"Because it will be so portable, just being able to show the teenagers what they may need for their school," Pitzi said, "or if they have to look up things, or are going to be volunteering somewhere, or if they would like to apply for a job that any teenager can go for. It's definitely going to be a great asset to the program, and I really appreciate that. "

Pennsylvania's ECYEH program is federally funded and works with school districts and the state to make sure homeless youth are provided with equal access to a quality education.
