August is National Peach Month, and Brian Phillips from Fine Wine and Good Spirits helped us celebrate with some signature cocktails this morning.
o The Gingered Peach
1½ oz Paul Masson Peach Grande
Amber Brandy
ginger ale or ginger beer
1 lemon wedge
Pour brandy over ice in highball glass and top with ginger ale or ginger beer; stir gently. Garnish with lemon wedge.
o Peach Mojito
1 oz peach schnapps
1 oz light rum
½ oz simply syrup
½ oz lime juice
seltzer
mint leaves
fresh peach
Muddle mint leaves with lime juice and simple syrup in glass or pitcher.
Add rum, peach schnapps; stir gently. Top with carbonated water and garnish with a peach wheel.
o Grand Raspberry Peach Jolly Rancher
1 ½ oz Grand Marnier Raspberry Peach
1 oz peach schnapps
splash of cranberry
fresh strawberries
Combine first three ingredients in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake vigorously.
Strain into a cocktail glass and garnish with fresh raspberries
