EAST EARL TOWNSHIP, Pa.–Police have released the names of the three people who were aboard a hot air balloon when it crashed in Lancaster County on Saturday evening.

The pilot has been identified as  Robert Fisher, 55, of Honey Brook and the two passengers are  Robert Spencer, 53, of Eldersburg, Maryland, and  Melyndia Davis, 48, of Sykesville, Maryland.

According to police , the balloon was carrying three people when it crashed into power lines along the 600 block of North Railroad Avenue in East Earl Township around 7:50 p.m.

Police believe the balloon traveled over the top of power lines while air was being let out of it.

All three victims suffered burns from the electric shock. They were initially taken to Lancaster General Hospital and later transferred to Crozer Chester Medical Center. Both Fisher and Spencer are listed in stable condition. Davis is listed in critical, but stable condition.

The FAA is investigating the crash.
