3 teens accused of attacking elderly man in Lebanon during attempted robbery

LEBANON, Pa.–A 75-year-old man was  attacked in Lebanon early Saturday by a group of teenage boys during an attempted robbery, police said.

The unidentified victim told police he was walking near Adams and Jones Street when he was approached by three teenage boys around 5 a.m.

One of the boys in the group asked him for money and when the victim told them he didn’t have any they assaulted him, police said. The victim sustained injuries to his head during the assault.

The suspects were described as three teenage boys between the ages of 14 to 17. One of the suspects was riding a bicycle.

The victim remains hospitalized. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 717-272-6611 or Crime Stoppers at 717-270-9800.
