Red Land headed to Little League World Series

The Red Land Little League team is headed to Williamsport! The team lands a spot in the Little League World Series with Sunday's win over New Jersey.

They beat NJ by a score of 12-0 in the Mid-Atlantic Final. Red Land pitcher Cole Wagner got the complete game shut out. The game was played in Bristol, Connecticut.

Closer to home, fans gathered at Hogan's at the Valley Green Golf Club for a viewing party. Supporters are thrilled to see the boys win and secure a spot in Williamsport.

The Little League World Series will be held August 20th - 30th. Red Land begins play on Friday, August 21st. Last year's champion is Seoul Little League from South Korea.
