LOWER PAXTON TOWNSHIP, Pa.–A man who fled the scene of a burglary at a restaurant in Lower Paxton Township early Sunday was captured moments later riding a bicycle, police said.
Stanley L. Mosley, 42, of Oberlin, is charged with burglary and possession of instruments of a crime.
Police said he smashed out a window at the Hibachi Grill and Buffet located at 5080 Jonestown Road just after 2 a.m. Officers responding to a burglar alarm at the restaurant spotted Mosley trying to ride away on a bicycle. He was arrested after a brief chase. Surveillance video showed Mosley entering the restaurant and opening the cash register, investigators said.
Mosley was taken to a hospital after he told authorities he overdosed on heroin, according to police reports. Mosley was later taken to the Dauphin County Judicial Center for arraignment.
