Folks kick off ‘Community Days’ at Lancaster Airport

LITITZ, Pa - Aviation is taking flight this weekend in Lancaster County.

Lancaster Airport is hosting it's annual 'Community Days' Event.

The airport has hosted the event for the past 20 years.

Visitors can look at planes, talk to pilots, and watch airshows.

They can even take flight, themselves!

This year's event featured World War II B25J Bomber Panchito rides, as well as plane and helicopter tours.

A popular feature of the event, the 'Parade of Planes', where people can hear a bit about the aircraft from it's pilot and then watch as it takes off.

'Community Days' will continue into Sunday, from 10AM to 4PM.
