MECHANICSBURG, Pa.- When Jim Campbel Jr. died at Williams Grove Speedway August 14, it was the first time he had ever raced there. He was well known in the racing community and they say they are a family and now they are giving back to his.

Half of all of the weekend's 50/50 raffle money was given to them, drivers did a helmet collection and Williams Grove matched what they raised. Between Friday and Saturday night over $20,000 was raised for Campbell's family.

"The fans are amazing. They will reach out for anyone that's in this community," said Jessica Hershey.

"Really honestly, it was the least we could do for the family. Anything like that tragic happens we want to take care of the family," said Kevin Maloy, PR Director Williams Grove Speedway.
