Lancaster County auction to raise money for Hospice & Community Care patients and their families

Lancaster, Pa. - Thousands of items are set to hit the auction block-- all in support of patients and their families at the Hospice and Community Care facility in Mount Joy, Lancaster County. It's part of hospice's 31st annual Labor Day Auction at the Lampeter Fairgrounds on 851 Village Road in Lampeter Township. The auction will feature one-of-a-kind items which include original artwork, furniture, and even exclusive trips. President and CEO of the facility, Steve Knaub gave FOX43 a preview of some of the items-- highlighting a football autographed by Penn State Head Coach James Franklin.

The event kicks off Saturday September 5th, and picks up again on Monday September 5th.  It will feature food prepared by the Amish community, and you can even grab some breakfast before you put your money down at 7:30 a.m. on both days. Parking and admission is free.
