All Clear: Mississippi State campus on lockdown after reports of active shooter

UPDATE: An all clear has been issued by the school and classes will resume at 2p.m.

STARKVILLE, Miss. — Mississippi State University is on lockdown after reports of an active shooter.

An alert from the school said there was an “active shooter” on campus near Lee Hall. The last update indicates the shooter may be in custody.

The lockdown has not been lifted.
