Saturday is a warmer day filled with plenty of sunshine. The humidity is a bit higher too.

WEEKEND WARMING: Afternoon temperatures are warming, and this trend continues through the weekend. A warmer day unfolds on Saturday, with temperatures in the lower to middle 80s. Warming continues into Sunday. Temperatures are in the middle to upper 80s. Of course, the humidity makes a return as well Saturday and Sunday. In fact by Sunday, it’s quite muggy.

EARLY NEXT WEEK: Monday we end August with more of the same. A couple thunderstorms are still possible. Tuesday brings a mixture of sunshine and clouds, with temperatures near the 90 degree mark. An isolated thunderstorm is a threat yet again.



SEPTEMBER STAYS STEAMY: The first week of September stays steamy for our region. Wednesday temperatures rise into the lower 90s, and remain there through Thursday. Friday highs are still near 90 degrees. The humidity lingers too, adding an uncomfortable feel to the heat. A stray pop up shower or storm is possible each day.
