Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today announced that a York County maintenance crew will continue base repair operations September 9-10 on northbound Interstate 83 between Exit 14 (Route 182, Leader Heights) and Exit 18 (Route 124, Mt. Rose Avenue). Motorists are advised that traffic in the vicinity of the repair work on northbound I-83 will be restricted to the right lane between 9 AM and 3 PM.

PennDOT reminds motorists to be alert for this operation, to obey work zone signs, and to slow down when approaching and traveling through the work zone, not only for their safety, but for the safety of the road crews.

To avoid delays, travelers should allow for additional time in their plans or seek an alternate route.
