LEBANON, Pa. – Lebanon City Police respond just before 2 o’clock Wednesday afternoon to a crash at the intersection of 9th and Lehman Streets involving a pickup and a tractor trailer.
The driver of the pickup reportedly ran a red light and slammed into the big rig. The force of the impact caused the big semi truck to careen into a porch of a home on the corner. No one in the home was injured.
The driver of the pickup was transported to the hospital. No word on his condition. The intersection was closed for hours to allow firefighters to clean up a diesel fuel spill.
