MANCHESTER, Pa. --  Folks in York County got up close and personal on Saturday with machines of all shapes and sizes.
A "Touch-A-Truck" event was held at Northeastern High School.

About 30 trucks were on hand for people to sit in, touch and see how they work. There were school buses, emergency vehicles, construction vehicles and even a race car.

The event serves as the kick-off for the school's fundraising efforts for the Four Diamonds Fund.

"We love kids and seeing that much joy within them for an event such as this, it's amazing. This is all for the kids, honestly, all this money and whatever we're doing is all for the kids and helping everyone out who's dealing with cancer and their families, that's our main goal to help everyone," says Student Senate member Kate McGonigal.

All of the money raised throughout the entire year will be given to the Four Diamonds Fund for pediatric cancer. The money will help families who have a child fighting cancer to pay their medical bills.
