LANCASTER, Pa. – A Lancaster City teenager was rushed to the hospital for emergency surgery after being shot on along a busy city street early Monday evening.

It happen just after 7 pm along the 500 block of East King Street near the intersection of Ann Street.  City Police Lt. Chris Laser told FOX43 News that the shooting apparently happen during an argument involving the victim and two or three people.  Only one shot was fired.  No one else was injured.

The 500 block of East King Street was closed to traffic for several hours while the investigation continued. Detectives have developed several leads but so far no arrests.

The shooting was the fourth in the city in the last 10 days. The earlier three shootings were all fatal to the victims.  Police have an arrest warrant for Jaime Alberto Santiago-Leon, 30, in the fatal shooting of Luis Santiago, 26, on September 5th in the 800 block of East Chestnut Street. 30 year old Edward Cameron was shot and killed in the 600 block of East Mifflin Street on September 7th.  21 year old Rahdir Jahi Maxton died over the weekend after he was shot on September 9th in the 200 block of East Fulton Street.
