SPRING GARDEN TOWNSHIP, Pa. -- More than 100 golfers teed off in York County to give back to a special team of law enforcement officers who help keep the public safe. The second annual Quick Response Team Golf Tournament took place at Regents Glen Country Club in Spring Garden Township.

All proceeds raised by the golfers and from sponsors will go to the team, which relies on funding and donations.  "We are the 911 for police. They call us when they get into a critical situation, where they need specialized equipment and specialized training. It's very important that our training is top-notch and all of our gear is top-notch. We are going against some very difficult situations and people that have very bad intentions," said the Team Commander Dan Stump.

Last year the tournament brought in $8,000 for the team.
