Clouds and showers slip in for the first weekend of fall
It’s a pleasant Friday evening for plans outdoors. Temperatures will slip out of the 70s into the 60s as skies remain mainly cloudy. Overnight, it’s cloudy and cool with lows in the 50s. Enjoy!
High school football tonight will feature partly to mostly cloudy skies. Temps will slide downward through the 60s.
If you’re heading to Penn State on Saturday, we move through the 60s during the tailgate with mostly cloudy skies. We keep the clouds for the game as temps slip from the lower 70s at kickoff to the mid 60s by the end of the game. It does look dry for now.
This wedge of moisture to our south is enough to keep us mostly cloudy and breezy on Saturday and overcast with the chance for showers on Sunday. Easterly flow will work in and cool us to the lower 70s for Saturday and upper 60s on Sunday.
We’re expecting mostly cloudy skies with cool weather in Philly this weekend for the pope’s visit. Saturday is dry and partly sunny with middle 70s. Sunday, we expect cloudy skies and temps near 70°. Bring some light rain gear as we watch a close call for showers. Enjoy the trip if you’re traveling.
We start with rain showers from overnight Sunday, lingering into Monday s the moisture steam moves right over the state. Highs will touch the low 70s. We break this all up with highs closer to 80° on Tuesday and a bit more sun breaks through. Another front slips in for Wednesday, with middle 70s again. We’ll stall out the front for late week, so partly to mostly cloudy skies stay in the forecast with a chance for a few showers daily from Wednesday onward.
Make it a fantastic weekend!
